A mindful Vinyassa Flow Yoga Class – the perfect morning wake up session. Join Esther Friday through Sunday for a strong morning practice complemented with music to get you ready for a day of dancing. Esther’s classes are a mix of mindful Vinyasa flow and deep holding postures. While alignment is an important part of the class there is also focus on the uniting of mind body and breath. She encourages people to observe and listen to their body and breath and let the mind take a back seat and become still. The practice is both strong and meditative.            

Esther is a Dorset based yoga teacher.  She trained with Elena Voyce @  Teach Yoga in London and is certified with The British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance. She then went on to train with Triyoga London to teach Tapasya Hot yoga. Esther is also a practitioner of Vipassana Meditation.

Lucy is a Vinyasa and Yin yoga teacher from Cornwall who enjoys creating a space for fellow yogis to find peace, laughter and lightness in their day. Drawing on ancient yogic philosophy, Lucy also incorporates breathing techniques and meditation as well as uplifting music to encourage a more relaxed and happy state of mind. Lucy has trained in India and Ireland and continues to further her journey with yoga here in the UK.

Mind Body Soul Stretch Tent

This class will soothe and nourish the body, it will give you the space to slow down, a chance to stay with your experiences rather than always moving and rushing.

In Yin yoga the poses are held for 3-5 minutes. The classes are focused on softening and relaxing muscular tissues. Through these attitudes there can be a gaining of harmony and peace – greater ease, a deeper sense of balance, feelings of calmness and acceptance. Due to the conscious relaxation in Yin Yoga, we learn to get happy and comfortable within our discomfort and tightness. Once you consciously allow yourself to relax, your body will start to open.

Jessica grew up in between London and Hong Kong in a sports obsessed family. After injuring her right shoulder Jessica was left unable to practice other sports and turned to yoga. Her passion for yoga led her to do a 200 hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training and since then she has trained in Yin, and has dedicated many hours to Acroyoga. Having realised how powerful the benefits of yoga can be, she wants to share what she has found, by encouraging those that haven’t already tried yoga and continuing to inspire those that have.

This style of yoga is physically demanding as it involves synchronizing breathing (ujjayi) with a progressive and continuous series of postures – a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, flexibility, stamina, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. This class sets out to share the dynamic sequence of Ashtanga for all levels. Modifications will be offered along the way so that everybody can safely practice within their limitations whilst gently challenging themselves along the way.

The class aims to teach you the connection between mind, body and breath whilst working up a healthy sweat! Eleanor will bring along her Northern wit and many years teaching experience to make this a fun, approachable and well supported practice.

Yin Yoga  with Eleanor Coates

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time (five minutes or longer per pose is typical.) Yin is referred to as a more meditative approach to yoga, as it aims at cultivating awareness of one’s inner silence, eventually bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality. This class will be practiced with music for extra depth of practice and relaxation. Experience deep stillness and calm in a deeply relaxing immersion into Yin Yoga.

Expect passive, floor based Yin poses designed to release held tension in the body. This class will combine poses with focused breathing to help encourage the art of listening and looking inwards to help be at ease with our feelings instead of trying to control, repress or distract ourselves from them.

Come with a partner or come alone and find a partner in the workshop.  After warming up individually and connecting with our own breath, bodies and intentions, one partner will use the other to go further and deeper into poses and balances. In the second half of the workshop Fiona will demonstrate with a partner, how to use thai yoga massage to allow your partner to experience the benefit of the deep relaxation and connectedness that comes from this form of touch. Thai Yoga massage incorporates the use of acupressure and stretching. No experience needed.  Open to all.

Restorative Yoga with Fiona Massari

Saturday 2 – 4pm

We begin by gently moving the body to stretch out tired muscles and connect with our breath. We will then work slowly in very releasing opening ‘Yin’ poses, without effort or force, to allow time for the body and mind to completely let go.  I will provide blankets and bolsters to bring ease and comfort and help us hold the poses for longer.         

All Fiona’s classes focus on breath, strength work and stretching poses as well as incorporating guided relaxation to bring ease to body and mind.  She aims to help you learn to listen to and trust the inherent wisdom of your body to maintain wellness.

She has been practising yoga since 1985, starting in India practising Iyengar Yoga in Pune and completing 200 Hours teacher training with the Amrita School of Yoga in South London in 2012. She also has a Diploma in Yoga Therapy from the Integrative Yoga Therapy Centre in Garopaba, Brazil.

In these workshops practitioners will learn how to massage key reflex points on the feet and hands whilst using elements of Pranayama to calm and relax the nervous system, improve digestion and reduce stress and tension. You will learn a simple yet rejuvenating facial massage using Marma points to boost energy flow, improve circulation and help calm any hormonal imbalances that may be showing on the skin. Ione is a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher based in Manchester. Her yoga journey started in 2008 when she began searching for a way of alleviating symptoms of anxiety and stress. This led her to explore different eastern philosophies and meditation techniques, which had a tremendous effect on her quality of life. Her journey eventually led her to travel to India and South East Asia learning and practicing different aspects of yoga and philosophy.

In this 90 minute session Sally will guide you through a gentle Yoga practice weaving in some simple meditation techniques. Aimed at healing your mind, body and soul. Helping you to wash away the stresses of daily life, ease out knots and tension to enable you to fully enjoy and experience Noisily as it should be with an open heart, open mind, relaxed body but importantly with a smile on your face. No previous experience of Yoga or Meditation required, all are welcome.

Sally Williams has been teaching Yoga for 15 years, she has taught at many festivals all over the UK but Noisily is her favourite. Her ethos is about bringing balance into into everything we do through a practice of Yoga that is inclusive for everyone. She says “Yoga isn’t about achieving the perfect posture, it is about achieving a sense of calm and harmony in one’s life, trying to be present in all we do, every moment of every day”. Sally is currently involved in a project that will hopefully bring Yoga and Meditation into many secondary schools in the UK, inspiring the next generation to cultivate a strong sense of self and have fun by stepping onto a Yoga mat.  Someone once said to Sally that at Noisily you will experience something very spiritual, Sally loves a chat she would love to find out if that is true for you, if you see her on the dance floor she is easily recognisable as she has no hair,  please come and say hello and give her a big hug, she will hug you right back.  Namaste.

Tegan’s class allows you to access that inner child that doesn’t get much time to come out and play. The class starts with a gentle & fun inner child meditation to access that play space inside yourself. From here we let our inner child move us in and out of asanas. We will all be invited to bring in our wild imaginations and create fun postures together that will make us feel alive and in tune with our play states during and after the class. Includes acro & partner yoga.

Tegan is a psychosexual and relationship therapist, yoga teacher, bodyworker and energy practitioner. She has been fusing these healing mediums over the last 6 years to create fun and dynamic workshops.
