Blogging from the woods.

As we slave away on site, getting ready to throw what promises to be the party of the century, the weather is holding up beautifully and in even better news, the weather is due to be sunny all weekend of the festival!

We’ve been putting together some great woodland furniture – all made out of the local materials, and as you can see from this photo, we’re building structures all over the shop.

Mr Rupert Newman, projectionist has also just arrived and is in the midst of building his huge 3D screen onto which he is going to map an incredible array of psychedelic projections. See for yourself what he can do:

Noisily Newsletter number two

Dear festival lovers,

The Summer is almost upon us, and we are ready to kick it of with a
serious bang. With all this great weather we've been having (ahem) we
thought that we'd give you a little update about what has been
happening in the Noisily camp.

Sun!

First up, we've been scouting the long range weather forecasts, and
Met Check claim with 88% confidence that the weekend of the 25th of
May will be sunny. Now we're not making any promises, and we're still
going to bring our wellies, but those sound like pretty good odds to
us!!

Treehouse

The Noisily team spent a very productive weekend at Noseley Hall and
managed to build this beauty in only two days. Add a ton of lighting,
16k of Opus Soundsystem and some mind bending visuals from
Magiclantern, and we are going to have a serious party. Check out the
video of the build.

Woodland ambush, one of our art contributers, also popped up to
assemble their fantastic Stairway to Nowhere, one of the central
pieces for our Noisily Hall area.

Competitions

There are a few competitions floating around – we've decided to give
one lucky festival goer their own portaloo for the entire weekend.
Imagine that, your very own cubicle, not having to share that seat
with 1000 other festival goers, luxury! To win, go to our facebook
competition page here(LINK). Rookie Creative have also written a
lovely article on us and are giving away two tickets on our behalf,
look here(LINK) for the article and competition details.

Music

Exciting things have been happening with some of our illustrious
artists. Matador has been pumping out some gems recently and his hard
work as catapulted him to the top of the Beatport charts with the
haunting melancholic sounds of the driving techno tune Klay.
On the other side of the musical spectrum, SpectraSoul have released
the first single from their upcoming album, and true to form, it's a
banger!

We have also just received an exclusive live mix from one of our main
headliners, Spektre. The duo have taken time out of their outrageously
hectic schedule to record this high octane mix in preparation for
their Saturday night set.

These are just three of an outstanding line up, if you want to learn
more about our artists then visit our line up page here.(LINK)

Performance

Things have been progressing nicely on this front and our silk
performers have been eyeing up oak trees to rig up and perform from -
we cant wait to see these elegant fairies twist and turn to the sounds
of the finest electronic music the UK has to offer.

So with less than four weeks to go until Noisily launches the Summer,
get your tickets here!

Much love, the Noisily team

Noisily Builds ‘The Treehouse Stage’ – DJs and Party People Prepare!

Hello there Noisilyers, and a very good day to you all!

Team Noisily have been up on site and getting their hands dirty after 6 months of paper pushing in the dreary climbs of post-apocalyptic (winter time) London.

Having spent the best part of 186 days since the conception of the noisiest dream around plotting our first foray into festival territory, Team Noisily have had plenty of time to focus on the light at the end of the tunnel; as we crept ever closer towards the light a shape began to form, at first it seemed rather small and modest but perspectives can be deceptive. Emerging into the woods from our warren of paperwork sometime in mid April, brimming with enthusiasm and the pent up energy of months spent in hibernation, we set about following the direction of our in house woodsman Robbie (see the Noisily teaser video for a look at his rugged jaw line and seductive manner, even if he does look like a homeless person)

Noisily Festival – Promo Teaser

What emerged was something far grander than any of us had imagined, but we’re not going to write about that, have a look at this video and see for yourself!

Win your own portable toilet? What will they think of next!?

We all know, that how ever hard festival organisers try (and I promise you, we’re trying) communal loos at festivals are never much fun. The last person has always peed on the seat or much worse! So, we are offering one lucky person the chance to win their very own toilet for the duration of the festival. It’ll have it’s own little lock on it so that you can keep it all to yourself, or, if you’re feeling selfless, let your friends use it in their hour of need.

Either way, this is something that will make your Noisily Experience even more joyful, so go here to be in with a chance:
